we we have officially moved!!! YAY!!! it actually went a lot smoother than i had planned. we started packing about a week before because we knew we wouldn't have a lot of time when it got closer, and im so glad we did. it made it a lot less stressful the couple days before. we still had a lot to pack up and that took quite a while. we made sure we had absolutely everything packed and ready to go the day of the move so we could do it as quick as possible. we both had school, and wanted to unpack as much of it as we could because we both had to work the rest of the week. my dad brought ofver his truck and flat bed trailer and we loaded that up with most of the big heavy stuff. ash brough paul's truck and we stuffed that full of boxes. mike brought his parents suburban and we loaded all the dresser drawers and clothes in there so we wouldnt have to pack them up. linnea also came with their truck and we loaded that too. we got everything moved to the new apartment in one trip, which surprised us all. once we got here, the unloading and unpacking went pretty quick. everyone stuck around to help out. dad, jon, mike, and rod moved all the big heavy stuff while me, ash, taylor, and linnea did the kitchen and living room stuff. we were done by about 4, and that was pretty dang fast considering we didnt start until about 12.
so far we really like it here. its amazing how much storage space we have here compared to our old apartment. that alone makes the move totally worth it! but we also now have a dishwasher and a washer and dryer. all in all its about 10 times better than our old one :)
